This project is designed to strengthen the political and cultural dialogue through civil society in Turkey and the EU with the aim of enhancing mutual understanding by bringing people together.

Stimulating - a more informed debate on the merits and challenges stemming from EU’s future enlargement towards Turkey and to draw attention to the extent of democratization to which Turkey has been undergoing with a special emphasis on the rights of minorities.

Emphasizing - the inextricable link between the way how the EU handles the Turkish application and the ongoing democratization and transformation process in Turkey.

Demonstrating -  that exclusionist policies and attitudes towards Turkey could disrupt the modernization process underway in the country and make Euroskeptics stronger while weakening the hands of pro-reform circles.

Informing - the European public about Turkey’s accession to the EU by producing and disseminating objective data.
